Main level - Living/Sleeping

The main level of Blue Sails features:

A generously-sized master ensuite with a king-sized bed, a luxurious shower, a double vanity, a soaker tub, and a private toilet closet.
Three well-appointed bedrooms, two with king-sized beds and one with a queen-sized bed, sharing a convenient bath with a tub/shower combination.
A fully-equipped kitchen with two dining areas and a seating bar for culinary enthusiasts.
An expansive living area comfortably accommodating over ten people for group activities or relaxation.
A covered screen porch with additional dining space and a large deck overlooking beautiful Lake Anna.

The Penthouse at Blue Sails offers a spacious and unique retreat with:

A roomy layout featuring a king-sized bed and three twin beds.
Thoughtfully arranged vanity and bed spaces within one large room.
A separate space designated for the shower and toilet for privacy and convenience.

It’s worth noting that the Penthouse can become warmer than the central air conditioning can handle during the summer. To avoid freezing the unit, the thermostat should not be set lower than 72. Therefore, we’ve provided a portable air conditioning unit for guests to use while occupying the Penthouse. The portable unit cools down quickly so we ask, for safety concerns, that it not be run when the room is unoccupied.

Conveniences

Have no worries about staying connected during your nature retreat! Our property has great internet service so you’re able to work or have fun online while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Plus, we have two Smart TVs – one in the living room and one in the lower level media room – for your entertainment.

You don’t have to worry about bringing sheets or towels either because we have plenty to make your stay comfortable, including cozy bedding in each room and ample towels in each bath. Even your pup has towels to dry off after a day’s swimming.

The inviting dock beckons you to unwind, whether you prefer leisurely floating or basking in the sun. Featuring two boat lifts and ample space for your jet ski, it’s a haven for water enthusiasts. Tour the cove or venture out to the main lake in the three kayaks provided for your enjoyment.

Blue Sails enjoys a gentle slope to the waterfront, ensuring hassle-free entry into the refreshing waters. Situated in a peaceful, no-wake cove with deep waters at the dock’s end, safety and enjoyment are guaranteed. Friendly neighbors enhance the welcoming atmosphere, so you feel right at home.

Adventure

The home’s convenient location offers easy access by car or boat to Lake Anna’s restaurants, entertainment venues, and marinas, undeniably one of the best reasons to vacation on the public side.

There are several places to launch your boat for a minimal fee. The closest is Hunters Landing at The Cove.

Please note, Virginia bans burning between February 15 and April 30 until after 4:00 PM.

Many neighbors and guests enjoy walking and running on these inviting country roads.

Quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM ensure that neighbors continue to enjoy our guests. Thanks for keeping outside conversations and laughter low and take the music inside.
